Cabbage Rolls

4 oz lean ground beef or turkey per serving

1 c broth or water

1 T onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed and minced

Dash of garlic powder

Dash of onion powder

Lg cabbage leaves

Directions

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. lightly blanch large cabbage leaves and set aside
  3. in a small frying pan combine all ingredients (except cabbage) and cook until brown
  4. spoon mixture into cabbage leaves, tuck in ends and roll up
  5. put cabbage rolls in a baking dish and add broth or water to the bottom of the pan
  6. bake for 20-30 minutes
  7. spoon sauce over cabbage rolls periodically to keep moist

Make multiple servings at a time for best results.

Good with 100% natural tomato sauce mixed with fresh diced tomatoes over the top
