Cream of Asparagus Soup

1 # fresh asparagus, chopped

No-salt Seasoning Blend, adjusted to taste

2 c water

1 T low sodium soy sauce

1 c almond milk

1/4 c raw cashews

1/4 c raw almonds

4 pitted dates

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  1. simmer asparagus, No-Salt Seasoning Blend, water, and liquid aminos (soy sauce) in a soup pot until asparagus is tender
  2. blend asparagus and liquid in a high-powered blender with milk, cashews, almonds, and dates, until smooth
  3. garnish with cilantro before serving
