Cabbage Steaks
1 head cabbage, cut into 1/2" thick slices
3 T evo, or avocado oil
1 t parsley flakes
1/4 t ground sage
1 t dried rosemary leaves
1 t dried thyme leaves
1 t garlic powder
3/4 t sea salt
Directions
- preheat oven to 400 degrees
- line baking sheet with lightly greased parchment paper
- in a lg bowl, toss cabbage slices with 1 T oil
- combine parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl
- sprinkle cabbage with seasoning blend
- heat the remaining oil in a large skillet on medium heat
- lightly cook cabbage slices for four minutes turning halfway until looking golden brown
- place cabbage slices in a single layer on prepared baking sheet
- cover with a second layer of parchment paper, followed by foil paper
- roast for 35 minutes covered or until cabbage steak is tender when fork is inserted
- you can uncover and roast an additional five minutes
- serve immediately
