Homemade Pickles
Pickling cucumbers
Apple cider vinegar
Water
Optional add ins:
- cayenne pepper
- garlic cloves, minced
- onions, minced
- jalapeno or other pepper, minced
- black peppercorns
Directions
- peel and slice the cucumbers
- put in a large jar
- fill up jar about 2/3 with apple cider vinegar
- add water to fill jar, covering cucumbers
- add optional herbs and spices
- seal the jar with the lid and shake
- refrigerate for a week before serving
