Tangy Slaw

1 T red onion, minced

Pinch of celery seeds

2 c cabbage, finely chopped

1/4 c apple cider vinegar

3 T broth (vegetable or chicken)

2 T lemon juice, fresh squeezed

1/4 t horseradish (to taste)

Sea salt and black pepper (to taste)

Directions

  1. mix red onion, celery seeds, vinegar, broth, and horseradish in a bowl (for a little less bite, you can add less horseradish and add more later)
  2. toss in the cabbage
  3. add more horseradish (to taste, if desired)
  4. add salt and pepper to taste
