Jamaican Jerk
8 oz skinless, boneless chicken breast, halved
1/4 c white onion, chopped
1 t ground cloves
1 t allspice
1 t dried thyme
1/2 t cinnamon
1 t sea salt
2 T apple cider vinegar
Sea salt to taste
Directions
- combine onion, cloves, allspice, thyme, cinnamon, sea salt, and apple cider vinegar in blender and blend to form a smooth, thick paste
- using gloves, run the jerk seasoning onto both sides of the chicken breasts
- refrigerate and marinate overnight
- preheat grill to 400 degrees
- season each chicken breast with salt
- cook five to seven minutes on each side until cooked through
